Earls

I’ve eaten at Earl’s Restaurant 5 or 6 times now and the service and food is consistently good.   Earls is a hip/lounge version of Houstons. The food is always good and they have some unusual options to choose from as well as the usual staples. The Bi Bim Bap is very good, it has just enough spice that you can taste it but not so much that it makes eating it uncomfortable. The staff are well trained and professional but also personable and friendly. It’s easy to see why the business model is growing quickly – good food, reliable service and at a reasonable price. Happy hour can get very busy.

Earls

I wasn’t expecting much considering the average reviews that Earls got on yelp and the fact that Earls is a chain. However I was really pleasantly surprised by our experience at Earls , there was good service, good ambiance, and the food was top notch.

It can be tough to find a decent place downtown Denver that has entree options under 20 bucks so Earls Kitchen and Bar was a good compromise, and they took the reservation for 11 of us with no problem, and will little notice really.  Earls was accommodating when we had to change the number in the party back to 9 which they did with no problem. The table was all ready even though we arrived a few minutes early and we were well attended to throughout the evening.

In regards to the food I had the Bronx burger which is totally mental – far too big. It was at least 10″ so you have to remove an onion ring or two. Underneath all that was an amazing burger which even thinking about it has me craving to return to Earls.   Earls isn’t too far from the DCPA a short walk to burn off your massive dinner.

Earls

Earls has a light and bright feel to the place with huge windows, and aside from that the staff and the food at Earls is awesome. I know its kind of irrelevant but the staff at Earls are quite easy on the eye and my wife agrees with me. The food and service is good and is near my office so it’s really convenient.  Trinity Grill for the professional lunch at Earls.  The photo is of their Tuna Tostada which is damn good.Earls - Tuna on toast

Went to Earls Denver with some friends for dinner. From the outside it looks like its not the biggest but once you get inside the upstairs layout is huge. Good service, cold beer, which was not cheap nor outrageous. I had the fish tacos which were fresh and made better than I can do myself at home. The restaurant has a feature where they can open up the wall and it becomes and awesome open air deck. I’ve marked Earls as a spot to return to when im next in Denver.

Earls
Earls didnt disappoint.
The Ambiance at Earls Denver Downtown is great. Our Server was friendly and informative and went out of the way to help. I ordered the Club No 4 an awesome cocktail.  Then had the Pork Green Chilli with Tortillas. Full of flavour and spicy but not to spicy just right. Then the 7oz Signature Steak was delicious, medium well of course. With Mashed Potatoes, and Asparagus that were seasoned to perfection. A Good Steak needs no sauce.
My Friend had the Burger, for Dessert I had the key Lime Pie. Tastes like what you get in Key West Florida.
Ample Seating, A Fireplace and TV’s.

Went with my man to Earls Restaurant and had lunch and let me tell ya the place is really great!!  decor is chic but yet also family friendly so caters to both. We were sceptical because it looked fancy and sort of unfriendly from the outside but it was warm and casual. The waiter took long to get to us but it was fine not too long just enough to read the menu properly without being rushed. We had tuffle fries which were delish and halibut -the chunks of fish were huge. I had a cajun chicken cheese sandwich. The chicken was a bit thin but the flavour was lovelty deep smoky and cabatta was thin so that it didn’t mask the chicken … probably the way the chef designed it . Instead of fries with I got a bowl of green chilli soup. I can handle really hot chilli  and although this didn’t have scorching heat it certainly had a kick to it . This is the best green chilli I have had in Denver since moving here five years ago. Earls Kitchen and Bar is found my new favourite restaurant in downtown Denver.
